Day five is rolling along here in the Fargodome in Fargo, North Dakota as the Junior Women's Duals and Cadet Freestyle fired up on Wednesday. With no individual tournaments coming to a head, we got a chance to talk with Olympic champion Brandon Slay and North Dakota State head wrestling coach Roger Kish.

Slay recalls his time competing in the Fargodome at the Junior Nationals as he was coming through the ranks as a young Texan. He also speaks on his roles on the National Team staff, coming through the Cadet level, his experiences on the Cadet World Teams and also talks about the Cadet Worlds.

Kish has the task of helping coordinate a bunch of different things on his own campus. This past year, 165-pounder Steven Monk finished third at 165 pounds. Kish talks about what goes into running this tournament, advice he's gotten from former NDSU coach Bucky Maughan and the recent expansion of the Buffalo Wild Wings.

It's all coming up on Episode 82 of the Short Time Wrestling Podcast. Short Time is proudly sponsored by FlipsWrestling. Share your attitude and be heard at FlipsWrestling.com
