It’s official. Virginia Tech will be the first college wrestling program to join the Mat Talk Podcast Network. Inside Virginia Tech Wrestling will debut on September 30 and bring fans, alumni and friends of Virginia Tech Wrestling 24 shows annually. Shows will feature the current coaching staff at Virginia Tech, the athletes, the alumni and those who will soon be wrestling in Blacksburg.
Inside Virginia Tech Wrestling will be distributed in the podcast format. Links and directory information will be posted here on the Inside Virginia Tech Wrestling page.
“I’ve had a long-standing relationship with head coach Kevin Dresser going back to his days as a high school coach at Grundy,” said Jason Bryant, the founder of Mat Talk Online and the Mat Talk Podcast Network. “Coach Dresser has always been an innovator and realizes the importance of engaging a fanbase — not just a wrestling fanbase, but the entire fanbase of Virginia Tech.
“Virginia Tech is taking the lead on this concept. I’m excited to be working with the staff in Blacksburg to provide top-notch wrestling information to the Virginia Tech community at large,” said Bryant.
