On Episode 6 of the Maryland Mat Chat we talk with two-time All-American and current assistant coach Josh Asper.

Asper came to the University of Maryland after graduating from high school in 2008. His high school wrestling career saw him compete in three sports and in wrestling, he won four high school state championships. Following graduation, Asper took one final shot at the USA Wrestling Junior Nationals. He would wrestle on the raised stage and finish as the national runner-up.

Asper talked about how he came to the school and talked about his career as a two-time All-American and a three-time participant in the NWCA All-Star Classic. Asper breaks down what it's like now to be on the coaching staff with many of the athletes who were his teammates just two years ago.
