On Episode 11 of the Maryland Mat Chat, head wrestling coach Kerry McCoy talks about his upcoming trip to Santiago, Chile to coach Team USA at the 2015 Pan American Championships. Coach McCoy has traveled the world wrestling, but his opportunities to coach at senior-level team haven't been that frequent. We'll scratch the surface of what the goals are for Team USA and how the Terrapin Wrestling Club factors into those goals.
We'll also talk to Coach McCoy about the four wrestlers on the Big Ten All-Academic Team as well as the annual team awards voted on by the team at the annual team banquet earlier this week.
Coach McCoy also sets up the spring schedule for the freestyle and Greco-Roman circuit and then talks about coaching Greco with host Jason Bryant.
