For years, coaches Jim Jackson and Scot Davis were super competitive with one another. Davis, then coaching at Owatonna, and Jackson, at Apple Valley, led two of Minnesota's top high school wrestling programs. They went after each other with ferocity.

Jackson stepped away from Apple Valley two years ago, while Davis left Minnesota for a year to coach in Kalispell, Mont. Davis returned and took the reigns at Eden Prairie High School and a year later, he added his former rival Jackson to his coaching staff.

They've quickly become the odd couple of Minnesota wrestling.
