With a number of great haunts around the Fargo-Moorhead area, we opted to talk to the co-owners of one of the newer spots, Herd and Horns. A three-time NCAA Division II champion at North Dakota State, Steve Saxlund has been part of the fabric of the Fargo community with sports, his career at NDSU and his other business ventures.
Saxlund along with fellow three-time Division II champion Todd Fuller worked to establish Herd and Horns on 12th Avenue North in Fargo. Football, wrestling, local stuff … this is a place that puts sports on the brain with “gourmet” street food. Trust me, the tacos are phenomenal.
So hear what Steve has to say about his life and wrestling legacy in Fargo and what you should check out when in town this week.
